Right now Maddie is at the stage where she is learning to read. We both love the My First Reading books. These books are perfect because they give the reader basic language, word repetition and whimsical illustrations ideal for sharing with your emergent reader. These books contain many of Maddie’s sight words so I only have to help on some words and lately I have been having her sound them out. She is super close to reading a few of these all on her own.
