After sharing Maddie’s favorite books, I knew I couldn’t leave out Margot’s favorites. These books Margot will ask us to read over and over again. I can read each of these books without looking at the pages. These books are perfect for 1 – 3 year olds.
Too Pickley! – Too wrinkly, too squishy, too fruity, too fishy! It’s lunchtime, but our fussy little boy does not like a single item on his plate. What is a boy to eat? Reidy’s playful rhyming text is once again brought to life by Leloup’s stylish bold art. Parents (and children) will love the hilarious antics the boy goes through, and the reassuring joy at the end of all that kitchen-table drama.
Don’t Push the Button – There’s only one rule in Larry’s book: don’t push the button. (Seriously, don’t even think about it!) Even if it does look kind of nice, you must never push the button. Who knows what would happen? Okay, quick. No one is looking… push the button. Uh, oh.
First 100 Words – Roger Priddy’s First 100 Words is a perfect early vocabulary builder for your child!
Doggies – Count—and bark—with a fun pack of pups in this Sandra Boynton classic.
Dear Zoo: A Lift-the-Flap Book – Rod Campbell’s classic lift-the-flap book Dear Zoo has been a firm favorite with toddlers and parents alike ever since it was first published in 1982.
What is your toddler’s favorite book? Is it one of these?
