Final Walk Through by CeeCee James is the tenth book in the Flamingo Realty Mystery Series. These books are the perfect read if you want something light and quick. After reading The Diamond Eye, I knew I wanted something quick and this book was great for that.
Stella O’Neil tried to get along with her rival, she really did. But when her rival is found murdered, she wasn’t as shocked as she might have been. Angela had been making enemies all her life; people either loved or hated her.
Everyone knew that Angela had been trying to ruin Stella’s business ever since she helped a client, so Stella is shocked to find she’s the prime suspect.
She has motive, access to the property where Angela was killed and no alibi… if she doesn’t find the murderer, she might pay for a crime she didn’t commit.
I really enjoy Stella’s character. She is funny and quick thinking especially when faced with danger. Stella is a great amateur sleuth.
I enjoy several side characters in this book. Stella’s grandfather, Oscar, is probably my favorite but I did enjoy the addition of Stella’s co-worker’s daughter. She was funny and reminded me of my own kids.
The mystery in Final Walk Through was pretty good. I liked that Stella felt obligated to figure out the mystery and the mystery all involved a house. While I figured out the mystery before Stella did I still enjoyed the book.
I plan to read book eleven in the series because these are fun and quick.
Have you read A Flamingo Realty Mystery Series book? While, this is the tenth book in the series each book is contained within it so this would be a great one to read.
